The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun
It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
Like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun
It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
Like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.
(Psalm 19:1-6 NIV)
As you look all around and toward the heavens, how can you not believe what so many have known since man stepped foot upon this earth. How can you deny the existence of the one and only God that created such beauty in our surroundings. Some call it chance. Some call it accidental. Some know it from God...for they have looked, heard, and had faith.
How could you not want this loving caring God for your Father? The God who loves us even when we falter. The God who cares so infinitely when our hearts are hurting. A God who is always with us,though we rarely realize his presence.
Father, we are yours. We ask to know and love you...to feel your divine and loving presence. Let us take the time to know you, our Father. In your son, our loving savior's name, Jesus Christ, we pray to you Father. Amen
