FEAR

Are you fearful of some upcoming event or life's problems in general? God is always in control, and with God, all is good all the time. If you just have to fear something or someone, fear God, the one in total control. Relax and keep in mind, it's all in his hands and he has a loving plan just for you. If you doubt this, remember the greatest sacrifice ever made to save you and give you eternal life - the Cross - then if you still doubt God's protection, put some time into talking to God, personally. He told us that our journey as Christians would not be a smooth one, but that he will always be there for us to give us strength and the reward of eternal life with him for faithfully fulfilling this journey. Pray not for the problems to be lifted from your back, but for a stronger back to bear them and our Lord's help to work through them. He needs us to bear heavy loads so that his will shall be done, but never alone.

PLEASE, TAKE THE TIME

Time upon this Earth is short. Our Lord did not intend for us to be tortured by our journey through this tough physical world for long. So take advantage of your short time here and grasp every little piece of life you can and love it, feel it, experience it to the fullest. Take the time to bend down to eye level with the less fortunate and give them a taste of God's healing love. Take the time to breathe in all that around you making up the life that our Lord has so blessed us with. Take the time to say, "I love you." Take the time to hug those seemingly so undeserving of a hug. Take the time to give the gift of an empathetic smile at the grumpy face before you. Take the time to extend your hand to the elderly during your busiest day. Take the time to give a dollar to the person with the sign on the street. Take the time to remember that everything that you possess was given to you by God, and therefore his to give as pleases him. Take the time to thank God for that beautiful sunrise that takes your breath away. Take the time to shed a tear for someone's loss. And, last but not least, take the time to talk with God each and every awesome day that he gives to you to experience his stunningly-gorgeous world created just for me and you. Please take the time given to you by God and use it as pleases him. God Bless

TOO SERIOUS ABOUT OURSELVES?

Most of us are entirely too serious about ourselves. Look in the mirror every morning and say, "I was created by my Father, God, and He don't make trash, honey." 

Quit looking at yourself and seeing shortcomings or aging or whatever the fault. Look past all the physical and peer into the spiritual aspect of your being. The outer shell is a product of the wear and tear of this physical environment. The spiritual is the part of you that is hardwired to our Father and filled with his love and beauty. Let that spirit pour out you - then and only then you will see just how beautiful a creation you are, and so will all others that come into contact with you.

God is incapable of creating junk, my brothers and sisters. Throw the physical aside to let all the wonders of your alluring spirit out for the the world to enjoy as God desires us to do. Let your light shine; let that resplendent and charming spirit out! Will you deny us and save it all for yourself? The world is anxiously waiting to be uplifted by that holy and out-of-this-world-striking experience.

KINDNESS

As the ancient Jewish philosopher, Philo, said, "Be kind to everyone you meet for everyone you meet is fighting a great battle on the inside."

Kindness is a result of love and empathy for your fellow man as Jesus asked us to exude outwardly. It's simple and so powerful, kindness. Everyone appreciates a kind word or gesture, and that kindness will change their day and that of the people they meet during the day.

So, uplift a soul today and be kind to all those you meet. Jesus is all about the power in simplicity. Let's try to simplify and beautify this man-complicated world with simple acts of kindness. Those kind acts will uplift our soul as well.

Let's put a smile on our Lord Jesus' face by making ourselves a wonderful-loving example of Him.
