Yes, God was the
original, the first recycler, the first to go green - look around the world at
all whom he has saved that society threw away as just so much trash. In fact,
if Jesus was the goalie for a professional soccer team, he would be the all-time
leader in saves.
Another thing, could
we at least once in a while get up off our cans and give our Father a standing
ovation when we discover another in the limitless list of divine things he has
accomplished and most likely been the first to reach that pinnacle? I mean who
else is more deserving of a standing ovation than our Father, our God?
