Blessed...

The very early hours of the morning here in Oklahoma are cool and very muggy due to the recent rains.  How the Lord has blessed us with that most precious commodity here on the windswept plains which are home to what can be the most turbulent weather on earth.  People visiting from other areas rarely take the time to see the awe inspiring beauty that God paints in his sunrises and sunsets.  Rarely, do they take time to notice the meditative opportunities the flatness and openess of the land that is the trademark of central and western Oklahoma creates for a person needing time to find and talk with God.  We are the heartland of this country...and it is with God...and it is strong.  The sometimes violent weather and the oft stout winds are just one of the many signs of God's concentration of his spiritual power in this part of the world.

As the Cherokee Indians in Oklahoma say, "We are vdadilvquotanv (Blessed) by God."
